Carol Gott and Jane Wilson of Rural Voices will be presenting a summary of a Made-in-New Brunswick Strategy for Rural Child Care, developed by New Brunswickers during two community sessions. Rural Voices for Early Childhood Education and Care and the New Brunswick Advisory Council on the Status of Women are co-hosting one-day strategy sessions in Shédiac (Dec. 5) and Woodstock (Dec. 6). How could services be organized to respond to the needs of working parents, stay-at-home parents, parents in training and education programs, and/or parents caring for family members? How do we integrate community services with child care to develop a responsive continuum of care for rural community children and families? Light lunch provided.
