The Early Childhood Development Association of Prince Edward Island and the Canadian Child Care Federation are proud to be partnering together on the "Living a Legacy Conference".

The event will provide plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas through five streams of workshops being offered:
- self development
- practice
- leadership/mentoring
- family/community development
- planning and policy

The workshops will be facilitated by individuals from Prince Edward Island and across Canada, and will provide an excellent opportunity to learn from those who will be on hand to share the legacy of their work and life experiences.

The conference also promises to be an opportunity to share knowledge and celebrate, by honouring the past, living the present and visioning together to create the future. You will have opportunities to network about your specific interests:

- early childhood centre based care
- curriculum/programming
- family day home
- Francophone
- Aboriginal
- training
- inclusion
- advocacy
- school age
- administration/management

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Educators, researchers, community program/services representatives, municipal, provincial and federal children's policy makers and civic leaders - anyone from private, public and voluntary sectors who has a commitment to an early years action plan.
