CAMP AECEO 2012: Team building & leadership camp

Location:
Trent University Peterborough , ON
CA
Event date:
8 Jun 2012 - 9:00am to 9 Jun 2012 - 4:00pm

Response to last year's Team Building and Leadership Camp was overwhelming! Therefore, by popular demand, we present our 2nd Annual Camp Event, which will continue the tradition of a unique hands-on leadership adventure!

The groundbreaking Camp was designed to ignite the fuel that inspires RECEs to invigorate the "leader within". It will bring together seasoned RECEs with those new to the sector to offer a great opportunity to network and build relationships under the backdrop of this spectacular natural environment.

Camp AECEO will revitalize and spark positive change within you as a leader in your profession and as a team player.

Whether you are a first timer or a returning camper, the experience will give you memories to last you a lifetime!

Transparency in teaching: Sharing inspirations of the Reggio Emilia Approach in practice

Location:
Cambrian College
1400 Barrydowne Road
P3A 3V8 Sudbury , ON
CA
Event date:
26 May 2012 - 8:00am to 4:00pm

Presented by the Acorn School, participants will be introduced to 4 Registered Early Childhood Educators working collaboratively in a Reggio inspired school in Richmond Hill who will share their teachingpractices that include their philosophy, their environment and the classroom projects.

Taking into consideration that participants will be coming to this conference at various stages in their journey towards Reggio Inspired Emergent Curriculum, the day will be focused on sharing and engaging to assess comfort levels and next steps of implementation. This is professional development for our RECEs by RECEs. Participants will
take from this a clear understanding of what is possible when teachers reflect on their values and beliefs about children, families and each other.
