This Child Care Connection Nova Scotia conference will feature workshops on child care and gender, leadership, worthy wages, and other relevant topics.

Conference will feature the following workshops:

1. Child Care and Gender
Presenter, Connie Miller has been active in the child care
sector for many years as an advocate, trainer, consultant and author.

2. Leadership
Presenters, Pat Hogan & Elizabeth Hicks are Executive members of the Certification Council of Early Childhood Educators of NS.

3. Magical Environments
Presenter, Carrie Melsom is program coordinator for the St Joseph's College of ECE Resource Centre.

4. How Child Care Makes a Difference to Families
Presenter, Alan Mirabelli, is the Executive Director of Administration, Communications and Information for the Vanier Institute of the Family.

5. Digital Cameras in the Classroom:
Presenter, Matthew Sampson is an early Childhood Educator who works at Peter Green Hall and uses digital cameras in his emergent classroom.

6. All Parents as Partners: Empowering Parents:
Presenter, Jim Greenman is Senior Vice President for Education and Program Development at Bright Horizons Family Solutions, a provider of employer sponsored early care and education centers. He is an author and child care consultant.

7. Worthy Wages:
Presenters from the NSCCA advocacy and communication committee.

8. Work & Personality:
The presenter from the Centre for Women In Business at MSVU.
