Description:

The National Agency for Education is responsible for Sweden's Official Statistics on pre-school activities, school-age childcare, schools and adult education. Data is presented for all levels of education.

The national follow-up system provides quantitative, recurrent data on developments in the education system. Each year, data is collected from all over Sweden, on children, students, staff, expenditure and educational performance.

On the website the statistics are published by type of activity and type of school. For each type of activity there is a description of the data that has been collected. The data is presented in different categories: children, pupils, staff, expenditure and grades.
