The federal government has launched a website to counter criticism of its national child-care policies and explain its plan.
Human Resources Minister Diane Finley says parents can get all their answers at www.universalchildcare.ca.
Finley says anyone who's signed up for the child tax benefit will receive the government's new $1,200-a-year tax rebate for every child under six.
Parents can ensure they are registered for the benefit by calling 1-800-387-1193.
