The OCBCC (Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care) presents a conference aimed to support advocacy and action in child care.
Conference Overview:
Join us in a weekend of fabulous activities, beginning on Friday evening with time to getting to know each other over dinner and a social.
Saturday will feature a keynote panel and three workshops, each of which will be offered twice during the day: Activism 101, Media Skills and Lobbying: How to talk to politicians and parents. Saturday night we'll visit a local restaurant together, and get in some music or dancing. Sunday will be a half-day of pre-election campaign planning, with the entire group, starting with a presentation on election platforms from all 3 provincial parties, and including an OCBCC strategic action planning session.
