Loyalist College is conducting a national study on staff development training. The natioanl forum provides an opportunity for key stakeholders to come together to carve a national action plan for staff development opportunities with early childhood practioners.

Purpose of the national forum:

To bring together educators, executive directors, board members, policy makers, and early childhood education practitioners to develop a national action plan with definitive steps and objectives in order to support the requirements of a holistic approach to staff development.

Outcomes:

Participants will examine, through th forum, skills and knowledge associated with critical success factors and gap analysis; strategies for developing learning communities; ways of creating a motivating workplace; leadership roles; common challenges, and areas for future direction and collaboration.

Participants:

College and university faculty, researchers, policy makers, community representatives, board of directors, executive directors, practitioners, and other experts who share prespectives on staff training for early childhood practitioners.
