The Fifth International Conference on the Child will provide a world scale forum on Children's Rights. The O.P.C.R. is concerned with the escalating problem of Children and Poverty. The objective of this conference is to make recommendations for the development of programs and policies to reduce and eventually eliminate poverty. The conference will also seek to identify problem-solving strategies for families dealing with this issue. Through such an event, the O.P.C.R. is providing academics and professionals the opportunity to generate a positive debate and work towards solutions.
