The Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care and the Canadian Union of Public Employees are presenting full-day workshops and public child care forums in ten cities and towns across Ontario. The goal of the campaign is to:

- learn about the effects of provincial downloading on child care funding and service delivery in Ontario;

- provide child care supervisors, staff and advocates with the information and skills they need to make their concerns - and voices - heard at the local and provincial levels;

- raise awareness about the benefits of government-funded and regulated early learning and care services for children, their families and society;

- provide parents and concerned citizens with an opportunity to voice their concerns to local politicians about the need for high quality child care in their community;

- provide an opportunity for municipal and provincial politicians to learn abou the child care needs of constitutents in their riding.

5) Sudbury - April 4
